On September 28, 2021,  we lost a dear friend and colleague, Dr. Patsy Giclas. Patsy was a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Medicine at National Jewish Health and an international pioneer in the field of complement research and diagnostics. She founded the world renown Complement Diagnostic Laboratory at National Jewish Health in the 1980s and was an internationally recognized expert in the complement field. Dr. Giclas retired from National Jewish Health a number of years ago and moved to Tucson Arizona with her husband Hank. The details of memorial services will be forthcoming.
