Abstract Submission Categories
We invite submissions in the following areas:
- Original translational and clinical research in immunology.
- Novel immunological methods for diagnostics.
- Case studies on immunologic diseases.
- Software applications, AI, or other algorithm development and integration into clinical practice.
- Health economics and outcome research for clinical immunology testing.
- Quality/process improvements in immunology labs.
- Method comparisons of classic and novel assays.
Important dates:
- Abstract submission opens: February 15th.
- Abstract submission closes: May 15th.
- Decision on abstract acceptance is communicated in June.
Submission Guidelines
- Submissions are only accepted via our online abstract portal. Refer to the portal for more detailed guidelines.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English and must be under 350 words.
- Tables should be in Microsoft Office format (not an image). Note: word count is affected when tables are included.
- One single panel figure can be included and must be at least 300 dpi.
- Abstract format: Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusions.
- The same person may serve as the presenting author for up to 3 abstracts.
- Presenting authors must be registered participants.
- Accepted abstracts will be presented in Poster Sessions.
- Award winners will be invited to give an oral presentation.
Awards & Scholarships
Authors of accepted abstracts can apply for the following awards and scholarships:
- Young Investigator Award – For applicants 35 years or younger.
- Peter Maxim Memorial Clinical Laboratory Scientist Award – For Clinical Laboratory Scientists.
- Doctorate Award – For Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree holders.
- Future Leaders in Medical Laboratory Immunology Award – Includes a 2-year AMLI membership for rising talents in the field. A brief statement of interest, a CV, and a letter of support are required to be submitted for this award.
- Travel Allowance Scholarship – Covers up to $1,000 in travel expenses for one recipient.
Note: Applicants may apply for a maximum of two awards but cannot apply for both the Doctorate Award and the Future Leaders Award.
