M. Qasim Ansari, M.D.

Dr. Ansari is an Immunopathologist. He is the chief of Pathology and laboratory Medicine at the  Cleveland VA Medical Center in Ohio. He is a professor of pathology at Case Western University Medical School. He graduated with honors from Dow Medical College receiving a Gold Medal in Surgery and has trained at Baylor College of medicine and UT Southwestern Medical Center for his pathology (AP/CP) residency and fellowship in immunopathology respectively. In addition to Anatomic pathology and Clinical pathology (AP and CP), Dr. Ansari is Board certified in Immunopathology and Hematology. He is a fellow of the College of American pathologists (FCAP), former chair of the CAP Diagnostic immunology Resource Committee and member of the Council of Scientific affairs. He has many publications and many presentations and has directed residency training and fellowship programs. He has received many awards including the Presidential award from the Texas Society of Pathology in 2012 and 2014 and a Lifetime achievement award from the CAP in 2018.
